Dave was the best, only person to win Winfield's mandolin championship 3 times. They should rename the trophy the Peters Cup in his honor.

Happy anniversary, Alan! I've been listening to Dave all afternoon, just incredible. He's one of my all-time favorites, really wish I could have met the man. Today is also my mandolin's birthday, so I'm going to celebrate both by working on Dave's arrangement of Dark Eyes (been working on it for three years, still struggling to put it all together).
