I just got a mandolin with a zero fret, to get the measurement for bridge placement do I measure from the nut to the 12th fret or from the zero fret to the 12th fret?

What are you saying?
That does not make sense. Two times zero is not greater then twelve.

You measure from the center of the zero fret to the center of the 12th fret and double it. This gives you an approximate place to begin setting your intonation. The E strings may be close to this number, the G's will likely be longer. Hope this helps.
