I stumbled on a couple of bands on the internet somehow, and they're pretty good. If everybody else already knows these guys, I apologize. I'm usually the last one to "discover" new music.

Free Range Pickin' (http://www.freerangepickin.com/musicnmerch/musicnmerch.htm) is one of the groups. They have a great sound. The banjo player is very good (believe it or not!). His style is more like Bela Fleck than Deliverence - more improvisational or jazz-like. They can all play.

The Boot Draggers (http://www.bootdraggers.com/) are another good group I found. Straight up bluegrass.

Railroad Earth (http://www.railroadearth.com/listen/) is also VERY good. Kind of eclectic acoustic. Very cool.

They all have mp3's available for download also - bonus!

Thought someone else might enjoy these.

Thanks for the links, I'll check 'em out! RailRoad Earth is a great band who I've had the chance to see a few times already but the other 2 I've never heard of.

I'm a big RRE fan, in the same genre, I also like Acoustic Syndicate from NC a lot too, great pickers with amazing vocals. Definately check them out live, they are even better in person.
