I just heard part of a pop song from a few years ago on an AFN spot. I believe the song was called "Going to Disneyland". It has a really high, hooky guitar riff in it that would transfer great to mandolin. Unfortunately, I can't find any info on it, and I have no idea who did it. It may have been kind of a one hit wonder. It's a really cool tune, though, and an infectious ear worm. Anybody remember that one? Chord progressions would be cool, and tab even better.

Thanks,

Lee

Ah... Takes me back to high school. You're coming up empty because the spelling is odd.

The song is Dizz Knee Land by Dada. Google that and you'll be on your way. And you're correct, that was and is a great guitar riff. Now it's stuck in my head...

You can't do it half-way and only learn to play it. You have to sing it too! Eagerly awaiting a sound or video recording when you have it nailed.

Dizz Knee Land (by Dada)

I just ran away from home
Now I'm going to dizz knee land
I just crashed my car again
Now I'm going to dizz knee land
I just robbed a grocery store
I'm going to dizz knee land
I just flipped off President George
I'm going to dizz knee land (2)
I just tossed a fifth of gin
Now I'm going to dizz knee land
I just got cuffed again
I'm going to dizz knee land yeah
Shot my gun into the night
I'm going to dizz knee land
I just saw a good man die
I'm going to dizz knee land
Come on...I'm going to dizz knee land
Kicked my ### out of school
Rolled me out into the streets
Hitched a ride on a monkey's back
Headed west into the black
I'm going to dizz knee land

Exactly! That's why my Googling was in vain-- I was spelling it right...
