I recently found this huge list of chords and bookmarked it. When I went back to look at it I got really confused. Is it just me or is everything backwards?

I gotta agree. The only way I can make any sense out those diagrams is if I'm looking through the back of the neck of the instrument. They probably make sense to Brian, though. Apparently he follows that "different drummer" we keep hearing about.

A different Strummer ... This is relatively normal for "Some" German methods of teaching. Not always though - but always confusing if your accustomed to seeing the layout as GDae rather than EADG.
As is said in German, Eine grosse katzenjammer. (A big headache.)
