Hello!
I recently tried out a mandolin in a music store that I really liked. I don't remember much about the looks except it being an F-style that was sunburst in some color, had white stripes along the edges (those things are called binding, right?) and fancy fret inlays. I checked the music store's website and came across a mandolin that looked like that and was in the same price range, so I guess it's correct.
The mandolin I tried had a nice chop, very smooth action, nice intonation and great sound. It was a bit quiet though. I guess the shop set it up.
How good are the Greg Bennett MF2s for it's price range ($500 in Sweden, but everything here is a little more expensive than in the US)?
Currently playing a Stagg M40s that costs around $130-150 in Sweden.
