Anyone have any experience playing neo-classical METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL (I love doing that) on an electric mando? I'm attending the Peabody Conservatory of Music (!) in the fall (not as a mando major, although they do offer one, believe it or not), and I was going to start a neo-classical METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL band there on the side. I'm thinking Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Angelo Batio, and Maestro Alex Gregory (the only mando neo-classical METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL (I never get tired of that) player I know of).

I wonder if he gives lessons? And if he does, whether you have to call him "Maestro".

I would have a hard time calling any metallurgist* Maestro, or even mister.

*Yes, I know this means "someone who studies and works with metals," but I wanted a word that meant "someone who plays metal music."

Hi,

Are you sure the Peabody Conservatory of Music has a mandolin program? I couldn't find it anywhere on their site. It is a full accredited program?
