Arlo that is. The band I'm in practiced this last night. It lends itself well to bluegrass, old time instrumentation. My buddy swore he heard it done in the High Lonesome movie. Can anyone confirm that?
Anyways it's got great potential for solos. We play it Am-D-F-C-E7. Besides playing the melody, can anyone give me some pointers on some scales I should look at for some extended soloing? I'm a bit weak in the theory department.
Thanks a bunch.
Here's Arlo at Woodstock playing it --(parental discretion is advised).
