New Ron Cole 'A' on the way!

Gang,

My custom lefty Ron Cole A is finished, and will be in my hands next week. I'm a bluegrass guitar player who got MAS months ago, and ordered my first mando from Ron after months of research. Being a lefty, I've never seen or played a lefty mando in my life, so this is all new to me.

Where should I start? DVD's? Books? Friends? A teacher?

Rhythm first, I presume, just like with guitar?

Any tips or pointers are appreciated. Where would you start, if you were starting from scratch, knowing what you know now?

Congratulations Gary, you sure are starting off with a good one. Ron makes outstanding sounding mandos. As far as learning I am real partial to the Jay Buckey series, just go to www.jaybuckey.com and check it out, great stuff.
