Hopefully no one will get flooded out. #Just remember that in a real emergency, a mandolin makes a good auxiliary paddle!
We're keepin' our fingers crossed for ya.

I grew up on those beaches and I've been through a few hurricanes - get the F style out of there !! I was just on Sand Key { south of Clearwater Beach } a few weeks ago. Very few people remember that Sand Key was formed by a Hurricane just after the turn of the 20th century. And what a hurricane can giveth - a hurricane can taketh away. Head for high ground and take your instruments with you. Good luck y'all.

My sister just e-mailed me to say that "Charley has changed course, is coming on at FT Meyers, and headed for Orlando." Of course Orlando is where my brother in law headed to get away from the storm.

I just now checked the Poke County paper on the internet and Charley missed my winter home by about 10 miles, I was sweating it for the whole night...It went through Winter Haven which is about 10 miles from where I live in Auburndale for the winter....Thanks for all of your concerns.....`til later, Willie

This time last week I had no power, no phone and a tore up yard. The worst for the mando's was the heat and humidity without any AC. I had to take my collection to a buddy's house that had power to store them.
A week later all is OK. Everyone is helping each other get back to normal. ( whatever that is!)The mando's needed some retuning but they all seem to be in good shape.
