I am proud of myself - being picked as "cover version of the week" by one of he major punk/post-punk websites, the Joy Division Central. Joy Division was my favorite band when I was younger, and I still regard the singer Ian Curtis as the most intense Pop/rock/punk-singer ever. I was hugely influenced by this music when I started up as a poet when I was 17... About two years ago I wrote a short classical version of their She's lost control for classical mandolin solo. Last week I recorded it and posted it at the JD-central page as a tribute to Ian Curtis, and I was quite surprised when the followers of JD actually liked it... And to be the "cover of the week" was an honor that I just had to share with someone... (You'll find the version at my myspace-page)
