Anyone find a good cleaner for Silver Hardware....Namely the Tailpiece cover.I have been playing a bunch outdoors here lately #and my big sweaty forearm is right there on it.

I have tried about everything in reason with no success....
Is it better to quit fighting it and just give in?

Is that silver plate or nickel silver? One thing you might do is to put a cloth over the tailpiece when you play. Prevention is worth a pound of repair! If you have silver plate contact(Google is your firend) Rio Grande jewlery supply for ideas on how to clean and protect the surface. What I use for fine plating is to apply a good coat of paste wax after the surface has been thouroughly cleaned.
