..Whats wrong with Eddie?...I have many fond memories of him when he was with the Gents...they would often stay at our house when they were passing thru....talk about bluegrass-in-your-face-awakening. I hopes its nothing too serious. And there was that time that he and the band I was with spent most of a rainy weekend in my van behind the stage at Beanblossom....naw...we wont go there http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Saw Eddie and Martha at the OATS festival July 4th. If something was going on, I wasn't aware of it. He seemed to be in great form.

Just found this info on Charlie Waller's site: Eddie had multiple bypass surgery on July 6th and is home resting. It mentioned the benefit concert. I can't believe I saw him perform the same weekend! He must have left the festival and went right into surgery.

..when Eddie and Gaudreau were with the Gents they would come to the house every summer....and my real claim to fame was when Jimmy taught me how to tie my shoes when I was 4....true story...on the back patio...I can still remember it....thats a great memory of mine.
