Bluegrass Jam in Bloomington

For those in the Bloomington, Indiana area... we are having a monthly bluegrass jam at the Gallery West Espresso.

Last Sunday of each month from 1pm-4pm. #Bring your acoustic instruments (Guitar, banjo, mandolin, resonator, fiddle, vocals, and/or bass) and join in the fun.

Last month was the first one and we had about 15-20 show up. #We had four basses, but no more than three playing at a time... that was interesting. #No fiddles or resonators in sight. #A couple mandos and banjos and several guitars.

Where is the gallery west expresso ......? I'm in Terre Haute and always looking for a get away to pick

If you are coming in from the west on SR46, take the 46 ByPass and turn right at the 2nd light after you cross over H37 (this is College Avenue).
Proceed down College Avenue and watch for the numbered streets and count down. When you get near to the square watch for 6th St.
Turn right on Kirkwood (which is also 5th Street, just after 6th).
Continue west on Kirkwood (5th) for several blocks. When you hit a traffic light at Rogers, go through it keep you eyes open on the right side of the road.
Gallery West is about 2 streets or so down from Rogers on the right. I think if you turn Right on MAPLE you can park in the back parking lot. Or in the front on the street.

Starts at 1pm and should continue til around 4pm. I will be there early but have to leave early.
