I bought a mandolin from this gentleman. It was similar to this one but not this particular brand. It is a light instrument with a nice full sound. I thought that it might be too bright sounding but it actually has very nice bass as well. Volume is quite loud and playability was very nice. It was in good shape except for some laquer checking, which I didn't mind.
