Yesiree indeed, the fall festival is but days away, have you got your tickets yet? Who's gonna be the first in line? Where will the front of the line be this time? All these questions and more to be answered by the next full moon, which will only make the pre-fest that much more bestest!

So who's goin' up early? Anybody need tix? Got any virgin Strawberrians out there? Remember, it's not just for breakfast anymore.

Duuuude,
You know where I'll be ... Dimond O, where there's smoke , there's fire, and there's toilets too!

Who needs a shower, anyways. Pshaw!

Hey ... the real question for me is which guitar to bring. I think I'm gonna give the 000-15s another try.

Who needs toilets when ya got the woods? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

That guitar you had in spring was fine, IMWO. Hey, the creek oughta be real nice about now, and the lodge will be open. What more could we ask for?

Sure the Larrivee did great in spring, but I'm thinking that I want to focus myself on mandolin for most the week anyway, so my guitar choice is a secondary issue.

The Martin is my 'go to' guitar, and is just so comfy, that I figure it will make a nice fireside companion at Dimond O. I've commented before about how the all-mahogany construction didn't cut well inside jam circles, but I have since upgraded the sadlle and am getting a lot more projection out of it. So, I think I might bring it just to find out what happens.

Am I reading these threads right, that Mandolooter's not taking your extra ticket? If it's up for grabs, I might invite my guitar player. Whaddaya say?

Bummer 'looter, guess we'll just have to come up there & drag y'all down next year. But be sure to holler if something opens up & you can make it at the last minute.

Benig - I probably will have a ticket leftover, maybe two if Cody ever makes up his mind, I'll let you know for sure by next week. Was hopin' CarolynBeth would use at least one of 'em but they have more bodies than we have spare tix I think. Sure, you can let me hear what the F-9 is really supposed to sound like, if'n I can have unlimited use of your firepit at Diamond O.
