He and Tim recorded an album together...the name of which escapes me.

It's Darrell Scott. Tim and Darrell did a record called "Real Time" that is maybe my favorite recording of all time. Darrell's a huge songwiter, great picker on guitar, mando, dobro, and a great great singer. Wrote "Great Day to Be Alive" that Travis Tritt covered, "Long Time Gone" that Dixie Chicks covered, and "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive" which was covered by Patty Loveless.

Way down here in this part of the country, we have Turner South network, which broadcasts everything pertaining to the South. A couple times a week we get "Live From the Bluebird" (Cafe in Nashville), which features three or four singer/songwriters, in the round, treating the audience with their own material. Darrell Scott has appeared more than once and is one who performs quite well (some writers cannot, folks)!

He also wrote a tune on the new Mountain Heart album. And also plays banjo. I LOVE hearing Tim and Darrell playing and singing together.
