Hello.

I'm new in this forum. I'm fench, I'm a guitar player and last week I had a love at first sight for this instrument, during a St PAtrick concert.

So, I'm looking for a mandolin to begin with. I'd prefer an electro, because I often play on stage, and I'd like to include the mandolin in my sets, as soon as I'm able to (in 10 or 15 years?...).

I've read many things in this forum, but many of the brands you advise are not available here in Europe, and I'd like to avois buying in th USA, after 2 bad experiences.

I've had a little informations on the Ibanez M510E (http://www.thomann.de/fr/ibanez_m510ebs.htm), but nothing about the Cort CMA150E (http://fr.euroguitar.com/guitare/cort/cma-151e-electroacoustique-houss/124544.html), which seems even better : solid spruce, etc.
I've always been impressed by Cort's quality for the price, but what about their mandolins?

So, has anyone ever seen or tested one?

Hope you can help me to choose...

Regards.

I can say that the brand hasn't been discussed all that much in the history of the cafe. Here (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/search.php?query=cort&exactname=0&starteronly=0&forumchoice%5B%5D=&prefixchoice%5B%5D=&childforums=1&titleonly=0&searchdate=0&beforeafter=after&do=process) is every thread that has a mention of Cort, none that is exclusive to the brand. If anyone has any experience with them I'm sure they'll post a message.

Their guitars are fantastic for the price. I work in a music store and we carry them. I am VERY impressed by their stuff. I have not seen their mandolins though.
