As I said, this will only be of interest to players that have SKY or Freeview.

Was looking around on the satellite and found this channel called RURAL TV,
http://www.ruraltv.tv/includes/schedule/schedule.php and although it has a lot of tractor pulling and horse riding stuff it does have a bit of Bluegrass.

The show I stumbled on was the “Gaither Gospel Hour”, which had Marty Stuart and the Grassicals and a lot of ones which I did not know (this show seemed to have a mandolin in every band).

I know it’s not much, but I have never seen Bluegrass on the TV like this in Europe before..

Awesome! Thanks for the tip - I don't know how I missed this before. Perhaps I have too many channels! Too bad, too, I'm heading back to the states at the end of this month. But I'll check it out until then!

A few too many programmes about tractors (I used to like tractors but now I'm an ex-tractor-fan)

Seriously, which sky channel is it on? and I'll se if I can get it.

Channel 279. On my package it's in the Lifestyle and Culture section.
And yes, there appear to be many shows with tractors playing a dominant role! Oh well - the music is good.
