Ready to upgrade from a Kentucky 140 to MK. I played a Legacy solid and liked it. Is it worth $150 more for the Legacy delux or $250 more for the classic?

When you get down into a model line of one manufacturer, where the models are designed the same and made at the same factory and priced only a couple hundred dollars apart, I doubt there is much different in playability or sound on the average. The differences are going to mostly be cosmetic. I think the more critical factor in that price range is the quality of the individual instrument you buy and how well it is set up. If you can play them all side by side, I would go with the one you like the best and can afford. #Also on average, the cheapest one with a $75 setup from a luthier will be better than the most expensive one without it.
