Hi,
I know it's already on the workshop notice board, but just in case you missed it the Lanarkshire Mandolin and Guitar Residential weekend is looming on the horison (May 2009).
The theme of this years course is ensemble playing and there are a variety of workshops and in addition there are sessions of individual tuition.
Tutors this year are:
Alison Stephens (classical mandolin) Workshop - ensemble skills
Nigel Gatherer (Celtic mandolin) workshop - discover the joy of playing in ensemble, nigel can teach anyone how to join in!
Barbara Pommerenke-Steel (classical mandolin and guitar) workshop - Interpretation and Practice Techniques, sound colours and dynamics
Graeme Scott (Jazz Guitar) workshop - Ensemble playing, jazz and popular
