Just wanted to say 'hi' to y'all. I haven't been around for a while. I got on a country blues guitar kick a couple years ago, and I haven't been playing my mandolin much lately. I guess my mandolin is calling me, because I've really had the mandobug recently. Just thought I'd pop back in and see what's been going on around the Cafe. Looks like y'all are still rockin' and rollin'. Great to see the mandouniverse is still properly aligned. :)

Just kidding, man. Yep, things are still kickin' over here. SO, you playing "regular stuff" or are you delving into Bush-esque blues/slide mando, too? I love it all...:mandosmiley:

Well, I'm sure I'm not playing ANYTHING Bush-esque. Wish I could! :) Been playing slide guitar, but I haven't played slide mandolin...yet.

Hey Stanley! You still pickin' up a Storm? I kinda have the bug to try to build another mando. A fella gave me a huge mesquite log the other day, and I took it to a guy to mill it for me. I gave him mando wood dimensions. If he can get some good wood out of it, I might be in bidness. Otherwise, we'll have some good wood to cook steaks on. :))
