Need a little help ...

I'm checking out "LosingMy Religion Mandolin Tablature". I've looked at tutorials about reading tab ... but I don't understand what is happening with this particular song.:confused:

I don't understand rhythm figure one ... is that a chord? ... or are the strings played separately?

And the intro/chorus ... the same question ... now when I play those tabs on the A string it sounds like the tune, but I don't see how the rest of it fits in ... are those cords or single notes?:disbelief:

The end has me confused as well ... the note sounds right ... but not for that many measure ... :(

Is there someone that can explain this song to me a little better?:mandosmiley:

When the notes are all in one column in a Tab, it is a chord. The Rhythm figure here is a picked sequence; the intro chorus is both picking and chording. The ending looks okay to me. Why don't you play it along with a recording, maybe your measures aren't the same as the transcriber's.

That's just it ... the numbers in the intro/chords aren't lined up ... is that just a misprint? Or should I be playing the chords F G Am and F?:confused:

No, the mandolin plays some single notes, then strums chords. Give it a closer listen - you'll hear them.
