Hi, puzzled again!

I'm hoping to buy a new mandolin for my Dad's birthday and I've posted previously, looking for recommendations. Only, I've now found out my Dad has gone and ordered himself an Ozark 2255 from a local music shop! Thankfully, he's not obliged to buy it but I wonder if anyone can tell me about this make of mandolin and how it might compare to, say, the MM-50 or Michael Kelly Solid? My Dad plays scottish and irish folk and occasionally dabbles with bluegrass!

Thanks so much for any words of wisdom you can offer http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
