Gibson Swiss Watches now http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif Look out, there is going to be a vast amount of people sporting Gibson tattoos, and wearing Gibson teeshirts.#

If you are older and have a few wrinkles will that make it a Distressed Gibson Tattoo http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Just kidding...I am Gibson Nut everybody knows that.

That watch is very nice.Any watch with swiss movement will fetch a price that high.

I actually thought about having a tatoo of a flowerpot done but I didn't know if anyone would be able to tell if I am a Gibson or not so I didn't!http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif So now I am thinking of having Sam Bush's mando tatooed on me.

Nothing to do with Harley, though that could be cool....
I just happen to be a watch nut and love Swiss hand made watches. I thought they would be cool and something to let us mandogeeks show our love for the product. I guess they are the ultimate accesory for those of us who have all the other things we can put with our babies. Anyway, they are mega cool, look great, and actually tell time with no batteries needed!

Big Joe,

I am a mechanical swiss watch nut as well. A little excessive according to my wife. My collection is approaching the $45,000 mark to date.

I wonder if the watches have the same problems as the mandos: They are too noisy and they keep speeding up! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I neglected to photograph the back of the watch. It's glass and you can see the watch engine movement. A fascinating piece of machinery to say the least. I'm glad it's just mandolins I'm nuts over. These things would be dangerous as a hobby.

Mandoman...That is a fair start to a watch collection! I wish I could afford some of the cool ones I see. Oh well, I'll have to settle with my humble few. Oh, by the way, you don't have a Gibson watch yet???

Big Joe,

I did not see them when I was at the Bluegrass Show Case earlier this week. I must of missed them http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

P.S. Are they available with a white dial?

Hey Darrell...
Not at this time. We did a limited run of only 50. If these do well we may see what we may do again in the future, but it will be different from these. Thank you.

How about a good old quartz model for us "poor folks"?
