I've been looking at the book by Dave Peters, "Masters of the Mandolin." It is listed on the Cafe:

Masters of the Mandolin (http://www.mandolincafe.com/davepeters/masters.html)

Does anyone know if this book is still available for sale? I called the number listed on their contacts page, but it was the wrong number.

Thanks in advance,
Nate

When I ordered mine I sent a check to the address and it took quite a while to receive it.

How long ago was that, and did you actually receive it? And also, what's the book like?

Thanks for your reply,
Nate

The lady that controls those is in Kansas City still I believe. I'm attempting to contact her to get some updated information and to see if she still has books. Elderly used to carry these but apparently no longer. I'll let everyone know when I hear something.

Yes, I received it and have used it to work out some solos. It's not an instructional book, just transcriptions.

It's too bad that non of Dave's solos are in it.

Just heard back from Sunnie. Here's what she said about the current phone number and address listed on the site:

That is correct. I just got a letter from someone who said they called and the person who answered said they didn't know about it. All I can think is that they either misdialed or they spoke with a babysitter.

That letter was from me . . . http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif I guess I'll have to send out a money order then. Thanks for the info Scott!
