I have a mandolin bridge that has the two E strings too close which causes the tone to be too biting and the spacing between the courses is off also.
I have a cherrywood flattop bridge on there right now but the radius does not match and I still need a top that is thicker.
I'd like to find a new bridge top that is a bit thicker so I do not have to raise it up quite so far to get the right action. I do not know what radius the fingerboard is. It is not flat though. I will probably need a radiused top and then I can have it radiused to match or a slightly less radius since I do not like to dip down to play the G and E strings.
I was thinking that my best bet would be a complete Cumberland Acoustics bridge if I cannot find just a bridge top. Greg Boyd sells the ebony with FI tops but I want all ebony.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Cheryl
