scroll screwup

hi,
yeah i'm a first time builder with a stewmac mandolin kit... i was cutting the scroll and... whoops, it doesn't line up with the body on the back side, but it does on the front. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions on making it work?

Like Gail,I'm having a hard time visualizing your problem. Is the mando box closed up already..or what? Pix could help.
