Since nobody else seems to be saying it I will: this thing is cool. I love the F holes/Alembic/Salvador Dali vibe here...

Well, if you want the Teigen e-mando, I might be able to dig up the eBay seller who has it...

I just checked out the mandolin on emando.com, and I remember seeing it before - it leaves me kinda tepid. Maybe if it also had the arched top and brass tailpiece this tenor does I'd feel differently. Oddly, I'm not too moved by his other designs either after looking at his site. But this hits something, even hinting at the Hofner aesthetic.

I do find myself wondering about how the tenor sounds, is there some kind of resonater, or is it an electric tenor guitar? Barry Mitterhoff plays one of the Gibson e-tenors with Hot Tuna, and it sounds great, very dry, the P-90s are pretty transparent. Similar, do you think?

Hm. Elderly evidently sold this instrument (http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/80U-2045.htm) for $995. Wonder what it's selling for now?
