Need to play this in a week. Having trouble hearing the mando parts in the recording.

Has anyone worked it out, or, know of a tab on the web?

Thanks.

What version are you trying to learn? If it's Mac Powell, I can tab it later tonight for you. Doesn't seem too hard.

Yes, the version sung by Mac Powell and Steven Curtis Chapman.

Thanks for the help.

Here it is with special "Email tab" because I don't really have a tabbing program that I know how to use. Example: 3/2 means 3rd string, second fret.

Intro lick:
3/5 2/3H2/5 1/0
3/0 2/3H2/5 1/0

Sounds like the mandolin lays out of the first verse.

Then for the second verse I would just play the chords:
G - 0023
Em - 457x
C - 0230
D - 2002

Little lick going into the chorus:
2/2H2/3 2/3 2/2

Lick after the word "sacrifice" in chorus:
3/5 3/4 3/0 2/5 (over a D chord)

After "saved" in chorus (last chord before next verse) :
C(#4) C C - 0420 0520 0320

Lick after first line of third verse:
1/3 1/5 1/7 1/5 1/3 1/0

During "was upon Him" :
3/4 3/4 3/0

After "was upon Him":
3/4 3/5 3/4 3/2 3/0 4/5

After "healed" going into mando solo, over Em chord:
3/2 2/0 2/2 2/3 2/2 2/0 3/5 3/4 3/5 (C chord -0230)
3/5 2/0 2/2 2/3 2/5 1/3 2/5 1/2 2/5 1/0 2/2H2/5S2/7 1/0
2/5 1/3 1/5 1/7 1/7 1/7 1/5 1/3 2/5 1/0 1/2 1/3 1/0 2/5 1/0 2/5S2/7 3/5
3/0 3/2 3/5 3/4 3/0 2/5 2/0 3/5 3/4 2/0 3/4H3/5P3/4 3/2 3/0 4/5 4/4 (Am - 2200)

For the last part I would just tremolo the chords until the little lick after "healed":
3/5 2/0 2/2 2/3 2/5 2/0H2/2 2/0 3/5 3/2
after the last "wounds" :
1/12 (tremolo)

Hey Jim,

What about Restore to me from the Glory Revealed album?

Thanks,
Kent

I have most of "restore to me" worked out, chord wise , I was going to tab out all the licks on the album, but the licks and fills always turned out too stiff. It's strange that there isn't really any sheet music for this album, no fakebook available, and CCLI doesn't have anything either.

If it would help, I will try to upload what I have tomorrow, unless someone already has it done.

I'm sorry, I haven't had time to work on it yet. I'm sure I can tab it out with the nomenclature outlined above, if anyone is still interested.

I had less than I thought written down, but Restore to me (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/g/glory_revealed/restore_to_me_crd.htm) here has accurate chords.

Just remember to play open chords wherever possible, and play with elegant simplicity the way they do on the album, and you'll get it in no time.

Also, you will want to learn to smoothly slide up and down chord scales for this album, as they use a lot of walk ups and walk downs, like 0023 -> 2235 -> 4457

and as for the licks and stuff, just listen and learn them, its good exercise and they are more simple than they sound
