as my other thread on the de-backing of my Eastman 515 reveals - I need a luthier asap.

any and all recommendations gratefully accepted. am in the Dallas Fort Worth area. thanks.

We are not in Dallas, but we are happy to help. We fix these kind of isssue on mandolins and guitars on a regular basis. Let me know if I can help.

Try Harrell at Waco Vintage Music in Mansfield. Be sure to call as he's not there all the time and they do not keep regular hours during the week.

You might try John Fitzgerald at 972-288-6490. He did a wonderful restoration/repair recently on a friend's Gibson F-4. Turned out very well.

There has got to be someone good who works at, or with, Charley's Guitars on Royal Lane in Dallas. They do a pretty good mandolin business. I don't think I've seen or heard of as many Collings in stock at one place as I saw there. I found the folks there very friendly and accomodating also. I would a call them.
