I want to post a thank you to all the mando players and mandocafe posters I met this week at Camp Bluegrass (http://campbluegrass.com) in Levelland, Texas. The instructors were great and Steve Smith (http://www.desertnight.com/) is... well, amazing.

I'm jealous. Wish I could have been there. Unfortunately, my anniversary is the week of Camp Bluegrass every year. Although my lovely wive tells me I am free to go away for that week, I cannot bring myself to go and leave her (and our kids) behind. For some reason, I cannot convince her that Lubock, Texas would be a nice place for the family to spend a week in late July.

BTW, I have a one-hour private with Gerald next Wednesday.
The high point of the camp for me was on Thursday, my bass player got puked on by a buzzard flying over the parking lot at the dorm. True story...
