How about a review of last nights show in Lawrence, Kansas?
I really wanted to go but it was our daughter's 16th Birthday. I tried to talk her into going over to Lawrence to hear some music but she was not buying it #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

well, I just got home from the show in chicago and it was Superb! Both of them were in great form. They mostly played their Gil's which sounded perfect for the grass they were picking. Great stuff, great guy's, great show. That sums it up I think:p

Yes! And I'd like to give a thank you to all who made this tour possible, especially this weekend in Madison--Mike Compton, David Long, Bob and Andy, thanks! And though I looked confused the whole time, I went home and was able to pull off a decent tremolo for the first time. Thanks!

Amy, ya got me beat! # Madison was perhaps the best concert I've been to. #Sitting about 3' from Mike and Dave was like a budding blues guitarist sitting 3' from SRV.

I was at NAMM when they were here in my own home town. Interesting: this evening when I got home from work I had a message to call the owner of the place they played at last Thursday. Uh-oh I thought. Some kind of problem?
This guy raved about the show. Said I should have charged twice as much in setting it up. Little late on that suggestion. I heard lots of good comments from locals here. These guys are the real deal.
