I have a Dean mandolin which I paid 650.00 for a few years ago-- I have been very happy with this mandolin and have made several upgrades (i.e. bridge, pickup, nut, tailpiece etc..)---I would love to purchase a new mandolin, however my monetary situation forbids me- My problem is-- the E strings are buzzing at the 11th and 12th fret- Ive tried adjusting the bridge and it hasnt helped - All other strings are fine--Any thing I can do to fix this? Is refretting an option on a mandolin of this range? How much does arefret cost (ballpark?) Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds to me like a mill and re-crown might be all you need. That's a lot less than a refret, probably well under $100.
It might even be loose fret ends. All you would need would be to tap them back down and carefully soak a little superglue under them.
Carefully means you can't get any superglue anywhere else without a real mess.
