Hmm. #Interesting interview with the site owner (Clint Troxel from Jackson Wyoming). #I'm not sure I agree with his answer to one question: [Quote]

SBM: What will your site offer to mandolin players that they can't find elsewhere?

Clint: Community and involvement. There isn't another mandolin site on the net that encourages its users to actively participate in the direction of the website. There are plenty of sites that offer featured articles written by famous mandolin players and reviews written by paid professionals, and even lots with mandolin discussion boards. With mandoplayer.com I'm trying to take the interaction one step further and let the sites' users have a hand in creating and sustaining it.

He claims to play a Weber Bitterroot so he can't be all bad #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif but is he a well-known mandolin player?

..I think what he is trying to say is that he welcomes feedback and suggestions as to how the site should run and be maintained....which is pretty cool. It looks like a fairly new site so Im anxious to see how it goes....
