Wayne Benson DVD

I saw that Wayne Benson has a new instructional DVD out.

Has anyone tried it...if so how about a little feedback

It's awesome! #Has a tab book. #Wayne goes note for note with split-screen closeups of both hands in a slow version and then a faster version of the songs. #He also performs them with a very good guitarist (sorry I can't remember his name). #I actually like the songs better on the DVD with just him and the guitar than I do on his CD (which is one of my favorites in spite of having some banjo on it!). #The instruction and tips he gives you are "do-able" too. #

A very good DVD indeed. The sound and picture are good, very clear and detailed. A thumbs up in my book.

i had a mando lesson with wayne about 4 yrs ago and he is such a humble guy. on top of being a great teacher. the dude knows a whole lot about the mandolin.
