Saw something online yesterday at a great price online from Vintage Music in Dahlonega, GA. Anyone know these guys? Reputable? Please advise if you can.

Thanks!

I can't vouch for their shipping, but I went to school in Dahlonega and bought strings from them a few times. It is a tiny shop, but they do cater to bluegrass players.

Yes, I think I know a good bit.

The owner's name is John Grimm. Excellent old-time fiddler and mandolinist, playing with the Georgia Potlickers (www.georgiapotlickers.com) and the Georgia mudcats. (http://guitarauction.com/mudcatshtml/bookings.htm). I've taken a few lessons, and like to buy CDs or something every time I am in.

I haven't ordered any instruments from him, so I can't really vouch for shipping, etc., but I can say John is completely honest, and has never pressured me into buying a thing. Seems happy enough for people to visit and play.

No Financial Interest, but I want to put in this plug for somebody I like to see get some business.

They got nice stuff, he just seemed a little impatient and seemingly pissed off toward teenagers and stuff, not just once but everytime i go

No one did this, so I figured to help: here is their web site (http://www.guitarauction.com/Site/Welcome.html).
