This may have been said before but I want publicly thank Scott T. for a great Cafe and wonderful place to hang out with fellow Mandolin players. This place is a "Gold Mine" of information. It is also a place to escape to, relax, read, and take in others thoughts and ideas. A place for the accomplished and for the beginner. Great photos and MP3's.
One of things I like most about it is I can post what's on my mind (about Mandolins and such) without feeling I have to put my guard up. I've been on other Forums where you may post a thought and you just know that there is someone lurking in the wings with a "Flame Thrower" ready to discredit you or tell you that you don't know what you are talking about, they seem to disagree with such anger and hate. Not here.

Keep up the good work Scott, I'm sure it takes a lot of it, and thanks again.

For sure, I'd still be in mando limbo if it weren't for this site and the folks who frequent it. Seems everyone is more into helpin' than hurtin', and that's what makes each member the better for it.

Us mando pickers are just a bunch of nice folks it seems. I've had the same experience on other boards and hardly if ever check em out any more. Everyone I've meet from the Cafe in person or online has been great and become a friend. I've been hanging around here for 3 years or so and have seen some squabbles here and there but all in all its the most civilized board I've ever visited and a wealth of info and help. Thanks to Scott and everyone else out there!http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I can still remember when I was just a "newbie", and it would have been nice to have the wealth of information and support from other pickers the way it is on this site. I know that many people ask the same questions over and over here, but it seems everyone is patient and passes on the info required. One more "thank you" for Scott.

All I can say is ditto for all the kind words for Scott. This is the best madolin site anywhere and we all appreciate it so much. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
