I am fairly new to the music theory department so I could use some help. I am playing a waltz tune so it is in 3/4 timing. At the end of the A section before it repeats, I want to add a little bass run or walk from the F chord to the Dm chord. Any suggestions? How would this be done? Are their any standard ways to construct a bass run?

that is what i was thinking of doing. i was going to do a slide from the e to the f on the g string and then walk back down to the d using the f->e->d. i'm at work right now and i don't have a mando so i can't really here it. thanks.
