Seeking Pac Rim mando market share numbers, etc.

I am working on a Marketing Plan for a marketing class. #I have chosen to write a plan for a fictitious mandolin company, and have had a hard time finding hard numbers about the mandolin market. I am interested in learning about sales volume and dollars for the overall mandolin market, for the sub-$1000 market, and for market share owned by the various companies who source from, or contract with Pac Rim factories and builders. The only lead I have so far is a NAMM publication that will cost me $50, but I was hoping that some of you well read souls out there may be able to point me to some web sites that might have such info posted for general consumption by the public.
