Hey all, I am considering the LR Baggs new Radius pickup for my Pomeroy H5 Mandola. Any comments or feedback on the wisdom of that decision? Or any other mandola pickup suggestions? Cost is as factor of course, as is quality! Thanks...
No responses? Hmmm...does this mean that no one uses a pickup on their mandola?

I like the overall tone of my radius for my mandolin - my only complaint is that it needs a preamp to get enough volume out of it - guess this is true with most of the pickups I have used - Breedlove switched over to these instead of the schertler (at least from what I can see at the mandolin store - and I could be wrong on this one) - I feel that the radius is a bit less bright (maybe crisp is the word) than the schertler - in terms of how it would work with a mandola, I think your experience would be similar to mine - I like it better than the k and k and PUTW I had as well - hope this helps,
