Can anyone give me what a good going price is for a Flatirion OM or bouzouki? The one I have is in like new condition. Has the price of these changed radically since Gibson bought them? Also curious what my Morgan Monroe M-OCT is worth?

It's a buyers market. It's got nothing to do with what it's worth to you, or the opinion of someone who isn't interested in buying it.... it's what someone else is willing to pay for it....
As for the MM Octave, I had one a long time ago. It had f-holes and a flat-top, and was basically plywood - though the specs said rosewood b&s - which was BS considering the color of the wood on the inside - and a solid spruce top, which I found very hard to believe. I imagine the going rate would be less than a Johnson or Trinity College, whatever they might sell for in this market...

I've seen the Flatiron OM/"bouzoukis" (like my 3-K) going on eBay for just under $1,000. Elderly Instruments had one for $950 here. (http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/90U-5151.htm) Most Google references I found say "$800-1,000"; I think most of these prices include a case.

thanks for the comments so far....and thanks Allen for the price comparisons
I just wanted to make sure I'd gotten a good price--paid $800 for mine and it is a 3MW bouzouki, but don't know the difference in models
thanks

I think $800 is a very good price.

The 3 indicates top-of-the-line. $800 is a steal.

I think the "M" in 3-MW is for maple; my 3-K is koa. Don't know about the "W."

The listings I've seen confirm what Allen wrote.
Flatirons with fancy woods (koa, figured maple) can go for more.
There seems, from time to time, to be good demand for entry-level instruments. If you have a hard case for it, that will make it more attractive.
