Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew of any Mando book that sort of covers all ground. I've got this great book for guitar called "The Guitarist's Handbook" by Ralph Denyer and it is just loaded with basically anything you'd want to know about guitar. I'm looking for something like that. Sort of a practice book/history book/reference book. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

My post was a spoof, of course, but I don't think the book Pete suggests is an equivalent to "The Guitarist's Handbook," which I have a copy of and I agree, is a great book. That mandolin theory book would be just one chapter in the "Handbook." Truthfully, I don't think there is a comparable book for mandolin. The Mandolin Cafe' site, this message board and the Mandozine site, all taken together, would provide roughly equivalent information, and of course, even more.
