Woah, talk about some strange mandolin's and oddities! The whole dopyera colection from elderly is for sale. Talk about design! I wish I could hear what they all sound like and feel like in person...

Elderly has had this collection for sale for a number of years now. It would be a shame to see it broken up and sold piece by piece, but I'm starting to think that is the only way they will ever move these instruments. They ought to be in a museum really...Though I'd love to hear some of these oddities played as well.

Ahhh... The other website I saw this posted at made it out to seem as though this was just announced, my bad. Well, at least a few new people will get to oogle the instruments.
