A friend brought me this one from Paracho Michoacan, the great mexican geetarbuilding town. Cedartopped, palo escrito sides/back, tonally it rests on the wall more stable than my lyon and healy bowlback, but, hey, waddya want for $120 with custom hardshell case. full 3 1/2" body depth, handbuilt rosette.

That's really nice. I was actually going to get myself a Classical guitar next time I visited Mexico, making a stop in the town that you mention. Who was the builder of your instrument? What do you think of the workmanship?

This one was made by Rodrigo Amezcua Gomez whose shop is at 29 de noviembre #324-a. Jerry brought back a nice mahogany/engelmann student classical for $150 and a superb indian rosewood/engelmann top grade classical for $400, both with hardshell cases, glad they're not in the gibson mandoclone business!
