Gluing teak

I am building a little flat top mandolin out of materials I have on hand (ie scraps). I have the fretboard slotted and ready to attach, but it is made of teak and I believe I have read that teak is on of those oily exotics that does not glue well with Titebond. Is this a place for epoxy or urethane or will the Titebond work well?

I have used Gorilla glue and west system epoxy on teak. Wipe down the surface with a solvent before applying glue.
