View Full Version : Kentucky KM-1000 finish

I have a KM-1000 for about a year now. I love this mando, it sounds and plays very well. I am having a problem with the finish, it is peeling around one of the f holes. Does anyone know what kind of finish this model has. It is VERY different from my first Kentucky a KM-630. Any ideas or clues?:crying:

The saga website says it's "Nitro-cellulose finish in a traditional 1920’s sunburst". I'm guessing from that description that it's Nitro-cellulose laquer.
