Looking for tabs or transcriptions for breaks on:

Blue Ridge Cabin Home (Bobby Hicks fiddle part ??)
Old Home Place (Skaggs, for example).

No use me trying mandozine / tabledit ... I simply can not open these files.

(help here requested as well).

Thanks, Frank

Why can't you open Tab|Edit files? TEFView (http://www.tabledit.com/?AfID=19329) is free.

I have Blue Ridge Cabin Home - could scan it and send it if you'll let me know what format you could open it in. can you see PDF? .jpg?

Have you considered working up your own original arrangements? It's hard at first but gets easier over time and is soooo much more satisfying than TAB. Get familiar with the song/tune from recordings, then start with the basic melody and build from there. It'll make you happy, happy!

I saw that tab, but the OP said he was looking for Bobby Hicks' fiddle break and this one just a basic melody tab geared toward the beginner. How did you get that up on the Cafe? Just cut and paste?

Jim,
I had it printed out in a 3 ring binder so I scanned it and uploaded it to Photobucket and then generated a link from there into here. I guess I should take it down now that I see what the OP really wanted.

Nah, leave it up. Somebody will appreciate it. How's you make out with Mohicans?

DryBones - fantastic, this helps lots ... I can use as a basis to work up the variations I hear being 'fiddled'. Good stuff.
