I have a 81 MM-70 I bought in Mt. View, AR. I played every thing all the stores had(8 hrs). Nothing could hold a candle to it. The craftsman ship is beautiful, and the sound is out of this world. I saw one on ebay go for $1500.00, which was cheap for the quailty of this instrument. I think one of these days this model will turn out to be a real collector. I know I would not let go of mine. I glad to hear somebody else feels the ssame about the sound, because there not much info on these mando's http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
