Dear NG,
today on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10179&item=3735466527&rd=1) you can bid on either a Breedlove or a Gibson. Real old - must be vintage.
Unfortunatly, I have too many mandolins (just completed step 1 on MAS Anonamous) to bid on this opportunity - ha.

FD-
I think it may be a vintage Giblove. "A fabulous addition to your collection" No doubt. This one is begging for you to bid http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Personally I see nothing wrong with this add. Although I think it may be one of those distressed Ibanez models. And those 20's Breedloves are getting about as much as a snakehead nowadays.

So really, what is this description all about? Is it someone who looked up some mandolin names and just wrote up something? The word flumoxed comes to mind.
Big ha to pickenNgrinnin and neal!

I may be stating the obvious, but I believe the seller is trying to ride on the coat tails of the names of distinguished company. They figure anyone searching for one the names posted might take a look at his.
